2016 GMC Sierra HD facelift revealed
GMC revealed the 2016 Sierra HD with some minor updates.
Looking at the exterior, it now gets standard HID headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights. A remote locking tailgate has been added as well, along with several new exterior paint colour options.
The interior is pretty much the same, with the added feature of having an optional new wireless smartphone charger. The IntelliLink infotainment system has been updated which now features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability. A new Active Steering Assist system has been added on some double cab and crew cab models apparently to make hauling and trailering easier.
The All Terrain HD premium off-road package is offered on SLT crew cab 4WD models, featuring the Z71 suspension, 18-inch chrome aluminium wheels and all-terrain tires, optional 20-inch wheels, unique exterior cues, and interior features that include an inclinometer in the gauge cluster.
The 2016 GMC Sierra HD should arrive in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries sometime next year.

no matter what the car maker does .. the car lacks of the minimum of the of road capabilities. i personally tried this vehicle in the desert. it is disaster …. you get stuck in the sand .. no one can get you out …

I don’t think these trucks are made to handle off road capabilities at all. They are mostly known to jack trailers behind with ease. The construction and body itself is too huge and lengthy to do anything in the desert, you can tell by the way it looks.
However, it is a monster on the roads and very intimidating when you see a Sierra in your rear-view mirror. 🙂
