2015 Volkswagen Scirocco GTS revealed
Volkswagen have unveiled the 2015 Scirocco GTS. It is set to debut at the 2015 Shanghai Auto Show.
Under the hood, is the same turbocharged 2.0-litre 4-cylinder engine, but it has been upgraded to produce 10 more hp, bringing the total up to 220 hp, like the new Golf GTI. Power is delivered via a standard 6-speed manual transmission or an option 6-speed DSG gearbox. This helps it reach from 0-100 kph in 6.5 seconds and hit a top speed of upto 246 kph.
Exterior-wise, the Scrirocco GTS gets standard 18-inch alloy wheels or optional 19-inch. It also features red brake calipers, and R-Line exterior package which includes R-styled bumpers, side-skirts, roof spoiler and a rear diffuser. The side-mirror caps have been painted black as a throwback to the 1982 Scirocco GTS.
The interior gets a black headliner, sports steering wheel with red seams and black piano lacquer with the GTS logo on the lower spoke. It also gets stainless steel pedals, golf ball gear knob and a chrome trim package. Optional equipment include Vienna leather upholstery, bi-xenon headlights, panoramic-tilt sunroof and a new multi-function steering wheel.
It is unknown if the Volkswagen Scirocco GTS will be offered in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar or any other GCC country.

The audio touchscreen system seems to be carried over from the new Golf…strange that the other new models (2.0 and R) still have the older version
