Bentley Continental GT3-R reaches UAE showroom

Al Habtoor Motors-Bentley Emirates will be bringing in 15 pieces of the Bentley Continental GT3-R in the UAE, with the first one being delivered to the first owner very soon. Only 300 units will be made worldwide and they have all been already sold.

Inspired by Bentley’s race-winning Continental GT3 racer, the GT3-R is powered by a 4.0-litre V8 engine, producing 572 hp and 700 Nm of torque. Performance is further improved with a weight reduction of 100 kg, combined with torque vectoring and shorter gearing. Bentley used more carbon-fibre, a titanium exhaust and removed the rear seats to make this car lighter. With a lowered ride-height, it provides tighter handling and faster cornering.

For the GT3-R, Bentley has shortened the final drive ratio of the 8-speed Quickshift transmission and enhanced the calibration to make gearshifts even quicker. It does 0-100 kph in 3.8 seconds.

On the outside, the GT3-R features a larger front splitter and fixed carbon-fibre rear wing, while the two-seater cockpit is trimmed in Beluga black leather with diamond-quilted Alcantara. The same material is used for gearshift and steering wheel, while the centre console, fascia and door panels are carbon-fibre. A vivid accent green used in the interior and GT3-R badging and embroidery.
