Nissan GT-R breaks its own ‘Ring record again
At the risk of sounding like a broken record, Nissan claims that their GT-R has broken its own Nurburgring record yet again, with a time of 7 minutes 26.70 seconds.
Just last month, the Nissan GT-R had managed 7 minutes 29 seconds, and then again two weeks later they did 7 minutes 27.56 seconds, each time driven by a professional Japanese driver. Last year it did 7 minutes 38 seconds.
In the end, all this does not matter any more, because the king of “budget” supercars remains the Dodge Viper ACR with 7 minutes 22 seconds, comparatively inferior in technology and driven by non-professional driver. The Chevy Corvette ZR1 managed 7 minutes 26 seconds at the hands of a GM engineer. And in the UAE, the GT-R isn’t even cheaper than a Porsche 911 Turbo, even though it might be cheaper elsewhere. There isn’t much point to the GT-R’s numbers any more until it can clearly outrun the Americans.

I think the Nissan GT-R has a could have some rieablity problems. why? too much electronics in it.
Here the Corvette is the best budget sports car you could ever get for the UAE.

Electronics are actually as reliable if not more than mechanical devices. For example an SSD has minimum time before failure of 1.5 million hours. So before you comment on “reliability” learn to spell it!
