2016 Nissan GT-R revealed
Nissan has revealed the 2016 Nissan GT-R in the United States. It is pretty much the same car with few visual updates and a new 45th Anniversary Gold Edition.
In the standard model, the only change visually seems to be the 20-spoke RAYS aluminum wheels, wrapped around with sticky nitrogen-filled Dunlop Sport Maxx GT 600 DSST CTT high performance run-flat tyres, sized 255/40ZRF20 front and 285/35ZRF20 rear.
The top model GT-R 45th Anniversary Gold Edition features a Silica Brass exterior, a golden VIN plate and a commemorative plaque on the dashboard.
The GT-R Black Edition features a carbon-fibre rear spoiler, different alloy wheels and a two-tone red and black interior with leather Recaro seats.
The twin-turbocharged 3.8-litre V6 gets some minor tweaks and produces about 550 hp. The more powerful GT-R NISMO produces about 600 hp, as well as the 4-wheel independent suspension receive unique NISMO tuning, with reduced weight and additional roll stiffness.
The 2016 Nissan GT-R should make its way to the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other GCC countries before the end of the year.
