Ford’s Executive Chairman William Clay “Bill” Ford, Jr. locally unveiled the all-new 2015 Ford Mustang on the 112th floor of the Burj Khalifa.

Basically the scene was set as the final part of a film where Bill Ford, the great grandson of Henry Ford, delivers the final piece of the car, which was actually taken up the service escalators in pieces to the 112th of the Burj Khalifa and put back together. The final piece was the iconic pony sign attached on the front grille.

“Today we planted the Ford flag in the Middle East & Africa, an exciting, vibrant region that represents the final frontier for growth in the auto industry,” Bill Ford said. “We also sent a message to the world that Mustang is going global after 50 years as America’s greatest motoring icon.”

Ford said, along with the 2015 Mustang, it would launch 25 vehicles in the region by 2016.

  1. Did he start it… oh wait! It didn’t have an engine. Marketing gimmick!!

  2. Had a test drive this week. Even the V6 is awesome! It drives like a European sports car. I wonder why leather seats are not offered in V6.
