Luxgen enters UAE market with Western Auto
Luxgen, Taiwan’s own automotive brand, has finally arrived in the UAE. Better known for building Toyota Corollas in Taiwan on a contract basis, we last encountered Luxgen here in 2010 when we had a chat with the CEO about their Middle East plans. The brand already set up dealerships in Oman and Saudi Arabia in the past few years.
Represented in the UAE by Western Auto, Luxgen is offering the Luxgen7 MPV and the Luxgen7 SUV models here, with a sedan model coming near the end of this year.
A 2.2-litre turbocharged engine powers both the SUV as well as the MPV. The engine is mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission.
All vehicles are available with premium safety and convenience technologies such as Lane Departure warning, Blind Spot monitoring, night vision camera), Eagle View+ 360-degree surround view cameras, smart keyless entry and THINK+, a unique infotainment system equipped with multimedia, navigation, phone and diagnostic funtions.
The Luxgen7 SUV range starts from Dhs 115,000 for the LUXGEN7 SUV M/L version and tops out at AED 129,000 for the LUXGEN7 SUV P/L version. The Luxgen7 MPV M/L starts at Dhs 105,000 while the range-topping LUXGEN7 MPV P/L version goes for Dhs 119,000.
Every Luxgen vehicle comes with a 3-year/100,000 km warranty and can be serviced through the CARS service centre network in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Fujairah and Ras Al-Khaimah.
Incidentally, our man in Oman exclusively drove the Luxgen7 SUV last year.

it is one of the most beautiful cars I ever seen and comparing to option and design with other cars models, I am sure it will take a great part in the market , exactly like all other cars models m it was not known then it take its place , but this car is very luxury and Geneon, I advise every one to own it really or test it , he will not loose anything. and n all cases it has a 5 years warranty and three years or 100km services .
just again I want to say I love it but hope it has a UAE GPS system. and have a showroom in Abu Dhabi too.
