Kia Niro Concept shown off in Frankfurt Motor Show
Remember that Kia concept we teased you with a few weeks back? More details and images have made it to the surface. It is called the Kia Niro Concept and was revealed at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show this week.
It also turns out that the Niro is not only a special unveiling at Frankfurt. The entire vehicle is reportedly designed at Kia’s European design center in the same city. The vehicle will essentially be a compact crossover coupe, slotting below the Kia Soul, if and when it enters production.
Under the hood, Kia claims to have put a 1.6-litre turbocharged direct-injection engine with hybrid electric drive generating about 158 hp.
The interior too is very intriguing. But among the obvious bits, there is a set of paddle-shifters alongside an interesting looking rotary-styled automatic gearbox. And oh, you got to love that entertainment/navigation screen!

the car would be a superb hit if it has some clearance so it could do gravel something like a subaru, and an engine that could put out something around 250bhp
