2014 Hyundai i10 previewed ahead of Frankfurt Motor Show

2014 Hyundai i10
Hyundai has revealed a few details of the new Hyundai i10 super-mini which is due to make its official debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show next month.

The i10 is supposedly 80 mm longer, 65 mm wider and 50 mm lower than its predecessor and its wheelbase is 5 mm longer. No word has been given on the engine line-up yet. But we are expecting an updated version of the 1.2-litre petrol which is already in the GCC market. Alongside that, the car may also get a 3-cylinder 1.0-litre engine.

We’re also devoid of any details about the new i10’s trim levels and equipment. Hyundai’s new i10 has been designed and engineered in Europe and it will be built at the manufacturer’s factory in Turkey.

But we’ve also got news that a new and bigger ‘Grand i10’ has debuted in India as a bridge between the traditional i10 and the i20. India has been one of i10’s leading markets due to its size and price range. Anyways, we’re expecting more news on the 2014 i10 by next month, when the vehicle debuts officially.

Keep track of the latest prices and updates in the Hyundai i10 buyer guide.
