   I actually think you guys above commenting about showing off and being morons are the actual morons because if you have any sense about the prices of a landcruiser you will understand that the top of the range 4.0L landcruiser costs 223,000dhs. So basically you are paying 3000 dhs extra for a different body kit and rear seat entertainment which is not expensive at all! So next time before calling people who might buy this car please think if your comment is going to make you look like a moron!

  Yeah, but dont forget that this car is sold during Ramadan, so the old one that you say is sold for 223K will probably be sold around 215 or even less, so in fact they are paying 8-10k more for STUPID after market things that they can get from outside, second, dont forget that we are approaching August, and some other brands already started offering 2014 models, so it is just a trick to move their stocks and only MORONS will be fooled by this trick …… enjoy the REAR ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM

   First of all according to me the platinum edition is just a way to compete with the Nissan patrol diamond edition. Sorry to say this but you must be the MORON to even think for a second that the parts you attain from deira can even be matched to a dealer fitted accessory!Deira might be cheaper and look the same,but the connection with the electronic wiring of the car and all can not be compared to a dealer unless you do it with some place like yellow hat!I have a VXRi landcruiser and I have a couple of friends who have a 2011 GXR landcruiser and when they tried installing the basic day time LED from deira,I can tell you for a fact it doesnt look that great,lights stop working after a while and its connected to your park lights so you dont even have the option to switch it off. So please do not compare places based on price,it is about quality! Secondly,well its pretty obvious you have no idea about market segmentation and demand for landcruisers in dubai. The land cruiser is one of the most used 4*4 in dubai! It has a certain connection to the people of UAE . If toyota has decided to make a limited edition of 200 models for this market,and prices it at an extra 10,000dhs even after your ramdan discounts,people will still be interested in buying it because not only is it a limited edition which makes it valuable,but also because they chose to spend their hard earned money on something they decided to buy! Let me repeat,their hard earned money,NOT YOURS! So unless they stole the money from you or they are forcing you to buy the car, please refrain from calling others morons and its pretty clear that no one said they are buying the car, the statement was just made to refrain from calling people moronos.

  Well, firstly i agreenthat no one shud be called moron for buying a LC.

  However, nissans diamond editn was clearly a response to toyotas 60th anniv version, so not sure who is the follower here.

  Overall, i agree withnsamer that during ramadan you will see some discounts that make the offer less attractive net on net.

  But as u said, its the people s choice and everyone has my endorsement for buying a LC, i am fan

  Jhon; dont give the impression that I said things that I didnt actually say, I didnt say that people buying LC are morons, the one who used the word is not me in fact it is in a previous comment, LC is very nice and strong car and they are not waiting for me or you to come and say LC is a good car, everybody knows it is a good car, I personally wish to buy one, my point is that Al futtaim need to take customers more seriously during ramadan, adding some accessories is not an offer indeed, it is just a cheap trick to move the stocks, sorry if I offended you

   It is true that LC is the most fast moving vehicle here in UAE I myself use to own a LC 2011 60th Anniversary V8 but after comparing the same with 2010 LC there were not many changes only the naming which seems that it was done in UAE itself and now every one is owning LC but it is V6 not V8 & later I sold it & brought Nissan Patrol and they only have V8 & comfort is much more higher.
   But end Land Cruiser is Land Cruiser & Nissan Patrol is Nissan Patrol both are up to their own standard and comfort & power.

   friend got a base model for 165k on red T offer, then added 10k worth of addons now resale is 200k 🙂 so yah better to buy base

    no matter what how less the feautres and more the price is for LC it sells in huge numbers …i think 1 in 7 cars in uae would be an LC ….

    to be honest Toyota and Lexus r one of the best but Alfutaim group is as usuall tricking people open ur mind plz the parts r cheap this is not like an intresting offer its another trick last year the 2013 gs 350 was really good but this one well am sorry they r tricking us just like the new 2013 ls 460 which is not new with only a face lift loool!!
    next year the design will change complelty just like they changed the whole design of the Toyota Avalon lol be smart and have patience and think b4 u buy
