Porsche 911 Turbo and Turbo S 2013-2014 officially revealed
Porsche recently revealed the new 911 Turbo and Turbo S models, which are set to make its world debut at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.
The Turbo and Turbo S both have a turbocharged flat 6-cylinder 3.8-litre engine, with power transferred to the four-wheel-drive system via a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. There will be no manual transmission. The Turbo will have 520 hp, while the Turbo S will get 560 hp. The Turbo can now do from 0-100 kph in 3.2 seconds and the Turbo S is slightly faster, going from 0-100 kph in 3.1 seconds. Both have a top speed of 318 kph. With the help of the auto start/stop function, combined fuel economy is rated at 9.7 l/100 km.
The body is wider by 28 mm than the Carrera 4 models. Both the Turbo and Turbo S get 20-inch alloy wheels, retractable three-stage rear spoiler and a rear wing with three adjustable wing positions. The Turbo S gets standard LED headlamps and daytime running lights.
Expect the new Porsche 911 Turbo and Turbo S models to arrive in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other GCC countries by the end of the year.

Typo error: “The Turbo and Turbo S both have a turbocharged inline 6-cylinder 3.8-litre engine” It’s a flat-6, not an inline-6 🙂
