Lamborghini Veneno bought by UAE buyer

Lamborghini-Veneno
A customer in the UAE has bought the highly exclusive Lamborghini Veneno, confirmed by local dealer Al Jaziri Motors. Only 4 cars will be made of the Veneno, of which one will be used by the Italian supercar-maker to showcase in their museum in Modena.

Named after a famous bull, the Veneno was designed to celebrate Lamborghini’s 50th anniversary, and is priced at €3 million (Dhs 14.35 million) each. The Veneno, first revealed at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, was only offered in three colours, each representing a colour from the Italian flag. The one in Geneva was the Veneno 0, a prototype and the only one to have a combination of the three colours.

The UAE buyer has wished to remain anonymous. The other two owners reside in the United States.

The engine is the same as the Aventador, which is the 6.5-litre V12 engine mated to 7-speed automatic transmission, but pumped up to produce an output of 750 hp. This enables it to propel the Veneno from 0-100 kph in just 2.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 355 kph.
