Dodge hits the Redline with 2013 Challenger R/T

2013 Dodge Challenger Redline
Dodge has added a bit of spice to its Hemi-powered Challenger R/T for 2013, as they are now offering a new ‘Redline’ package that makes its official debut at the Chicago Auto Show. The R/T Redline builds on the ‘Rallye Redline’ kit that was created for the V6 Challenger.

The R/T Redline package adds subtle graphics along the beltline, as well as 20-inch black chrome wheels with red accents.

Interestingly, the car is equipped with the 6-speed manual transmission, but it also gets a performance-tuned exhaust. Moreover, the entire 375 hp and 555 Nm of torque is sent to the rear wheels. There is also an optional 5-speed automatic variant, which produces 372 hp and 542 Nm of torque. Dodge offers a paddle-shiftable automatic transmission if the customer wishes.

The Redline package retails for $1,995 (Dhs 7,300) and can be had on both Challenger R/T and R/T Plus models in the United States. The R/T, which sits between the V6 and SRT8, is not officially offered in the UAE.
