2013 Ford Focus ST on sale in the UAE
It seems UAE Ford dealers Al Tayer Motors has quietly brought in the 2013 Ford Focus ST into their showrooms.
According to Wheels magazine, the new Ford Focus ST starts at a very competitive Dhs 99,000.
The Focus ST certainly comes into the category of hot-hatch as the turbocharged 2.0-litre 4-cylinder EcoBoost engine produces a very healthy 250 hp and 360 Nm of torque. And it only comes with a 6-speed manual transmission. All this enough to propel the car in the 0-100 kph run in 6.5 seconds.

Come on car geeks! 6.5 sec isn’t sportive anymore. The bulky Dodge charger can do 6.2 sec even with automatic gear!

The Charger doesn’t have a 4 cylinder and is not from the same category as the Focus. And in handling, this will smoke a Charger any day if not in the straight line acceleration. There is a Youtube video of a MX5 (160 HP) giving a hard time to a Charger. We could compare it to Dodge Caliber SRT 4 though.
