2013 Peugeot RCZ reveal at the Paris Motor Show
A new face-lift Peugeot RCZ has been unveiled ahead of its debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. Peugeot claims it now offers consumers more customisable options. The French automaker also gave a preview of the 1.6-litre 260 hp version of the model to be called the RCZ-R.
The front fascia has been made to look more aggressive with new design headlights, bumpers and air intakes. The interior on the other hand, has pretty much stayed the same with few extra trim pieces added here and there.
The customer now has more options to personalise the car, such as 10 alloy wheel options, three different roof-arch colours, and a choice of bodywork decals. There is a Sports Pack model for the 200 hp engine which features a smaller steering wheel and a short-throw gear lever.
The same engine options are carried over from the previous model.
A new Peugeot RCZ-R was also previewed at the Paris Motor Show which will feature a new 1.6-litre THP engine producing 260 hp, the most powerful engine eve built by Peugeot. It will also have a sportier suspension, with limited slip differential.
Expect the 2013 Peugeot RCZ to hit dealers in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and the rest of the GCC by the end of the year.
