Dodge Dart 2013 rally car with Travis Pastrana for Global RallyCross
Dodge and SRT Motorsports announced their entry into the Global RallyCross event with the all-new Dodge Dart and driver Travis Pastrana.
The all-new 2013 Dodge Dart rally car will be piloted by four-time Rally America Champion and 17-time X-Games gold-medalist Travis Pastrana, who happens to be a four-time Rally America champion as well.
Under the hood of the Dart rally car is custom-built 600 hp 2.0-litre 4-cylinder, 16-valve turbo-charged engine mated to a four-wheel-drive system that puts out more than 745 Nm of torque. The claimed 0-100 kph time is as low as 2 seconds! Of course, the standard version of the Dodge Dart is nowhere near as crazy, so stop dreaming already.
Global RallyCross is a spin-off of the X-Games rally races and is in its second season. It combines the skill of rally racing with the excitement of X-Games. There are 70-foot jumps over racing traffic, creating “motocross with cars” action.
