Commercial Vehicles Middle East 2012 show opens in Dubai
The Commercial Vehicles Middle East event is now on at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. The three-day event is being held alongside the Commercial Vehicles Conference.
Shell Business Team Manager of Retail & Automotive Fuels, Jörg Spanke, will talk about Shell’s Smarter Mobility Solutions and its re-invention of Shell Diesel Extra, on the first day.The environmental friendly Shell Diesel Extra, also known for entering into the Guinness World Records in 2008 for participating in the longest non-stop commercial truck drive in Italy, was launched in our local market in July last year. A seminar about the new RTA heavy vehicle trailer inspection and registration process will round up the event on the final day.
During this three day conference, Arabian Automobiles will be debuting its 4.8-litre Nissan Patrol Pick-Up, to the Middle East. This new creature is exaggerated to be powerful and speedy for creating 280hp from its V6 engine. Al Futtaim Motors will also be introducing their new generation of 150 hp environmentally friendly HINO300 Series light-duty truck, making it the Middle East’s first and only Japanese car to offer a fully automatic gear.
Other exhibitors like Taiwanese infotainment provider Funtoro will display their new multimedia platform, while tyre distributor Jaspa will also showcase their All Steel tyres designed for lighter trucks.
Product demonstration, networking functions, and new commercial partnerships will keep this event engaged over the three days.
