Mini “Drive Out Loud” Festival held at Dubai Autodrome

This Friday, BMW Middle East held the Mini “Drive Out Loud” festival at the Dubai Autodrome. The event hosted Mini owners from around the Middle East. Entry was open to the public, though ticket prices were pegged at Dhs 100.

The Mini Festival started off with a convoy of Mini owners, gathered from around the GCC, driving from Abu Dhabi to the Dubai Autodrome. There, all the cars were displayed. The event also offered track sessions with the Mini Cooper, minor offroading with the Mini Countryman, rides in the AC Schnitzer Mini “Eagle” and a first look at the Mini Coupe.

Other events included a car-pulling contest, face-painting, bouncy castles, outdoor restaurants, car foiling, car graffiti painting, stunt-driving demo by Russ Swift, break-dancers sponsored by Red Bull. The live host for the event was none other than City7 InGear’s Adam Kechil, the former self-proclaimed “Jeremy Clarkson of the UAE.”

The event ended with an awards ceremony for the “Mini Beauty Contest” as well as live performances by local music bands.
