News round-up: Mitsubishi, Honda, BMW, Mini

Mitsubishi’s and Honda’s UAE dealers have opened used car divisions, BMW’s Qatar dealer has restarted their bespoke programme, while Mini is hosting a public event.

Mitsubishi’s UAE dealer, Al Habtoor Motors, has just launched their “Car Zone” used car dealerships officially. They’ve announced it as the ” Middle East’s first used-car supermarket” although the first showroom seems to be the size of a grocery. They have later plans to open a larger warehouse and offer 300 cars at a time. Cars of all brands are available.

Honda’s UAE dealer, Trading Enterprises, has also launched their programme for approved used cars. All Honda cars offered will undergo a thorough inspection and come with a warranty.

BMW’s Qatar dealer, Alfardan Automobiles, is now offering the BMW Individual Programme, a customisation offering for BMW buyers who want special paint jobs, unique upholstery and more electronics. The dealer will also offer a few “special” 7-Series models that were customised with the dealer’s own specifications under this programme.

And Mini is holding the “Drive Out Loud” event in the UAE. Taking place from 27-28 October, an exclusive evening gathering will be hosted at the Aloft Hotel at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre to welcome Mini owners flown in from around the Middle East. On Friday 28th October, the programme will kick off with a Mini convoy from Abu Dhabi to Dubai. The general public can then visit the Dubai Autodrome where they will be able to take part in a variety of exciting activities that will include track drives, stunt shows, driver trainings, parades, competitions, and historic and accessories exhibits.
