Middle East Motor Tuning Show goes global

The Middle East Motor Tuning Show (MEMTS) representing the Middle East automotive aftermarket sector, is set to be showcased in an impressive way at one of the world’s leading events, the Specialty Equipment Market Association Show (SEMA Show) at the Las Vegas Convention Centre. SEMA show is a premier automotive specialty products event that brings together the industry’s brightest minds and hottest products under one roof, while MEMTS, who recently became a SEMA member, is the region’s premier auto-aftermarket specialty products event held annually at the Expo Centre, Sharjah.

Owing to the thriving aftermarket culture in the Middle East which booms at over US$ 8 billion and backed by a consumer base of over one billion people, the region which has become an auto parts trade and transition hub has attracted interests of most international aftermarket parts manufacturers. MEMTS will showcase the existing business opportunities in the region for American manufacturers and also help them in accessing the Middle East market, thus attracting more participants to its forthcoming exhibition from March 15 to 17, 2012, at the Expo Centre, Sharjah. The previous episode of MEMTS attracted more than 30,000 visitors and it has now become one of the biggest shows in the Middle East devoted to performance tuning and car customizing industry. The SEMA Show attracts more than 100,000 industry leaders from more than 100 countries for unlimited profit opportunities in the automotive, truck and SUV, power sports, and RV markets.

Out of all the companies exhibiting at the 2011 SEMA Show, 528 companies are first-time exhibitors. The displays are segmented into 12 sections – Collision Repair & Refinish, Global Tire Expo, Restoration Marketplace, Business Services, Mobile Electronics & Technology, Powersport & Utility Vehicles, Trucks, SUVs, Off-Road, Hot Rod Alley, Wheels Accessories, Tools & Equipment, Racing & Performance, and Restyling & Car Care Accessories.
