New Mini AGMC showroom opened in Dubai

Marking the official opening of its new dedicated showroom and Lime Tree Café & Kitchen in Dubai Media City, MINI together with AGMC, dealer for Dubai, Sharjah and the Northern Emirates celebrated with partner Red Bull by showcasing its unconventional marketing style, creativity and latest MINI models.

An entertainment line-up set the ambiance for the evening with a live performance from MTV Europe Music Awards Nominee ABRI and sets from Red Bull breakdancers, freestylers and a DJ. Meanwhile, partygoers also had the opportunity to win one of four MINI Experiences and test drive the new and updated range of MINI’s including the MINI Hatch, MINI Cabrio and the all new four door MINI Countryman. Guests also caught a glimpse of the limited edition MINI Clubman Hampton and enjoyed a sneak preview of the MINI INSPIRED BY GOODWOOD, a unique family member developed in close collaboration with the Rolls-Royce Motor Cars design team that re-defines quality.

Providing delicious nibbles throughout the event, the Lime Tree Café & Kitchen also had reason to celebrate, with the launch of its fourth café in Dubai. Conveniently attached to the new MINI showroom, the new café can sit approximately 70-80 guests and will provide MINI customers and visitors alike with fresh and nutritious products.

The new 533 square-metre MINI showroom is a culmination of an impressive first 35 years in business for AGMC and will mark an exciting new era for the iconic brand in the emirates. Latest results from the importer reveal sustained growth for the MINI brand in the first quarter of 2011, with a 178% increase in sales of MINI vehicles compared to the same period last year.

The new AGMC MINI showroom in Dubai Media City is open from Saturdays to Thursday from 8 am to 8 pm and 4 pm to 8 pm on Fridays.
