Rolls-Royce opens redone Dubai showroom with art show

The “Spirit of Ecstasy” lady, found on the bonnet of every Rolls-Royce, is celebrating its 100th anniversary. To mark “her” centenary anniversary, Rolls-Royce Motors Cars has created a special set of just 100 vehicles — the Spirit of Ecstasy Centenary Collection. In addition, every vehicle produced during 2011 will feature a unique Spirit of Ecstasy with an engraved commemorative inscription. This coincided with the opening of the redone Rolls-Royce showroom in Dubai.

To celebrate the opening of the newly-redone Rolls-Royce Showroom in Dubai and mark the centenary anniversary of Spirit of Ecstasy, AGMC and Rolls-Royce Motors Cars had an exclusive evening of “art and luxury.”

VIPs and media reps got a close look at the limited-edition Rolls-Royce cars marking the hood ornament’s 100th birthday, alongside a photo gallery display by leading Emirati photographer, Alia Al Shamsi.

We are told that the showroom has been expanded to fit more models. While there are currently only three different model ranges to display — namely the Phantom, Drophead Coupe and Ghost — there are plans for various Ghost versions to join the line-up in the coming years, such as convertibles and coupes.
