Jaguar XK 2012 facelift with new XKR-S model
Jaguar’s pricey grand tourer, the XK, has received some minor, but refreshing, aesthetic alterations for 2012. The facelifted XKR was unveiled at the 2011 New York Auto Show, alongside a new XKR-S model.
The headlamps have been reworked to look slimmer, and also houses the LED daytime running lamps. Other noticeable changes to the exterior include a slightly-reworked front bumper and new fenders featuring horizontal side vents.
On the inside, the XK gets treated with new steering wheel, updated instrument cluster, blue ambient lighting, piano black detailing, a knurled rotary selector and three new cabin veneer choices. Other additions to the range include sport performance seats with butterfly wings, new 20-inch wheels, six new interior colours including tan and red combinations, and five new exterior colours.
Powertrains are carried over and unchanged for the existing range, while the XKR-S receives an upgraded 542 hp supercharged V8. Expect a GCC launch late this year.
Keep track of UAE updates in the Jaguar XK buyer guide.

Not bad, Jag is going more into sporty/futuristic designs.. Working hard on killing the image of Jag being an ‘old man’s’ car..
