Ford Focus ST sports model to join 2012 range

The all-new 2012 Ford Focus is going to take a while to reach showrooms, but Ford has already trotted out the entire model line-up, including this Focus ST “design study” that will form the basis for a powerful new hot hatch.

The front-wheel-drive Ford Focus ST will boast a 247 hp 2.0-litre turbocharged “EcoBoost” 4-cylinder engine with a manual gearbox and other sporting upgrades. No other information has been released yet, although Ford claims this model will become available in many markets. The ST will be displayed at the 2010 Paris Auto Show.
