Aston Martin Vantage N420 2011 limited edition

Aston Martin has unveiled a new “motorsport-inspired” special edition of their second-smallest model. Dubbed the V8 Vantage N420, it is a completely stock model with some carbon-fibre body panels to cut weight by 27 kg.

The Vantage N420 has the standard 420 hp 4.7-litre, available as a Coupe or Roadster, and comes with a 6-speed manual or optional Sportshift automated manual transmission.

On the outside, changes include a carbon-fibre splitter, side strakes and diffuser, 10-spoke alloy wheels with gloss black finish, black mesh vents and a ‘Graphitic’ tailpipe.

Inside the Vantage N420, standard is an Iridium interior package, with graphite instruments, leather or Alcantara steering wheel, special N420 sill plaques and lightweight carbon-fibre seats, complete with ‘Race Track’ stitching as in the V12 Vantage. Bluetooth connectivity, cruise control and Park Distance Control are also standard.

A further option is a new range of Aston Martin ‘Race Collection’ paint schemes for the grille and door surrounds, in cheesy colours such as ‘Rose’ yellow, ‘Kermit’ green, ‘Elwood’ blue and ‘Racing’ green, as well as straight-up black as seen in the first N420. These cars can be ordered at any Aston Martin dealership in the GCC.

And if you’re wondering what Aston Martin’s smallest model is, that would be the hot Aston Martin Cygnet.

  1. Logically speaking this is a car for big teams with big budgets for touring car races… I dont think any individual will buy such a car for track use here, people would opt for a cheaper option…
