Total lubricant deal with Al Futtaim Automotive

Total Middle East FZE (Marketing), has signed a three-year exclusive lubricant supply agreement with Al Futtaim Automotive, the UAE’s largest car distributor. The deal means that every third new car in the UAE will run on Total lubricants, positioning Total as one of the leading brands in the UAE lubricant market.

As part of the agreement, all vehicles sold and serviced by Al Futtaim Automotive will be powered by Total Quartz, a sub- brand of Total lubricants’ passenger car motor oil segment. Al Futtaim Automotive currently represents Toyota, Lexus, Hino, Honda, Volvo, Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge brands – some of the worlds most popular and desirable names in the automobile industry.

As exclusive lubricant suppliers, Total Middle East FZE (Marketing) will now have access to 13 Al Futtaim Motors’ and 17 Trading Enterprise service centres across the UAE for all the eight car brands under its distributorship.

Total Middle East FZE (Marketing) has been in the UAE for over two decades and is a major player in the UAE lubricant sector. More than 100,000 tonnes of Total and Elf lubricants are produced annually at the Total Lubricant Blending plant in Jebel Ali catering to increasing domestic and regional demand. Recently, Total Middle East FZE (Marketing) was certified for its integrated management systems i.e. ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance (LRQA).

The Total Lubricant Blending Unit (TLBU), a state of art plant, is accredited by ISRS (DNV) with a Level-7 Safety Management System. TLBU was also conferred the prestigious Dubai Quality and Environment Health and Safety (EHS) Award, which is the highest industrial honor in the UAE.
